Grant Application Options
- Existing Course Projects: "Shovel Ready" projects approved by managing club & park director. ($500 or $1,000 increments)
- New Course Funding Grants: Municipality-approved/funded new courses. This is supplemental to city funding and must be an approved project prior to submitting the request. ($500 or $1,000 increments)
- Event Fundraising Grants: For established annual events looking to reach new tiers. Must have State Coordinator approval for A/B tier upgrade.

- Grant Submission Period: 3/1 - 3/30/2025
- Frozen Fingers Finale: 3/29/2025
- NEODGA Board Grant Vote: 4/7/2025
- Grant Awards Announcement: 4/9/2025

NEODGA Grants Awarded 2018-2024
2018 - $3050 in Total Grants Awarded
- $250 - TCDGA - Birdie Hill: Extra chains to upgrade Mach 2 baskets to Mach 5.
- $500 - Parma DG - Nike Park: Repair old baskets from Veterans Park for Nike Park.
- $550 - Portage County DGA - Sunny Lake: Concrete and collars for 10 pins; start of redesign.
- $1000 - Nathan Williams - Wildwood Park, Louisville: Baskets.
- $750 - Findley Flight Club - Lost Island: Additional baskets.
2019 - $2340 in Total Grants Awarded
- $500 - SCDGA - Arbo/Spiker: New tee signs.
- $240 - Friends of Punderson - Punderson SP: Repair of #3 Gold Tee platform.
- $600 - Norwalk DG - Great Blue Heron: Short tee pads (rubber).
- $1000 - MVDGA - Boardman Park: Concrete tee pads.
2020 - $2500 in Total Grant Awards
- $1000 - Summit DGA - Chestnut Ridge: New beginner course installation.
- $500 - TCDGA - Champion Schools: New course and starter sets for students.
- $1000 - Parma DG - Green Course: Added 9 new holes.
2021 - $2000 in Total Grant Awards
- $1000 - Johnson UMC - Lord's Landing: Concrete tees.
- $1000 - North Ridgeville Park and Rec - South Central Park: Tee pads and signs.
2022 - $3500 in Total Grant Awards
- $500 - Portage Lakes DGA: Drain install for hole #13.
- $1000 - Findley Fight Club: Course expansion to 24 holes.
- $500 - Portage County DGC: Course bridge project at Sunny Lake.
- $1000 - Portage County DGC: Grassman campground course completion.
- $500 - Friends of Punderson: Drainage project and deck tee project.
2023 - $7000 in Total Grant Awards
Event Grants
- $500 β AOG3 (Knepp).
- $500 β Findleyβs Lost Island Adventure V (Knepp).
Course Work
- $500 β Youngβs Run: Basket, tee signs, stairs (5/9) (Silvers).
- $500 β Findley State Park: Baskets (Vaughn).
- $1000 β Arboretum/Spiker Park: Reflow of course layout and signage (Black Sheep - Craig Riley).
