I fell in love with the sport of disc golf when I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2007. In my time in Charlotte, I had the pleasure to work closely for the Charlotte Disc Golf Club and Another Round Disc Golf. I served with CDGC as a club leader, course director, and ambassador for the sport in Mecklenburg County and beyond. I relocated back to Ohio in 2020 and helped in the efforts to grow the sport in Summit County for the next few years.

In 2021 I traveled to compete in AM Worlds alongside Brad Silvers in Orlando, Florida. We had dinner one night and he discussed the potential chance of me becoming his successor as NEODGA President.

I am currently serving my second consecutive 2-year term in this organization and continue to grow the sport here in NEO. I am passionate about the work that I do and feel that I foster a great community environment for Northeast Ohio disc golfers. It is an honor to serve this organization as your NEODGA President. I look forward to the future of disc golf in NEO and the growth of our sport.

I was introduced to the sport of disc golf in the spring of 2013. I was hooked from the first time I heard the disc hitting those chains.

At first disc golf was something fun to do during the weekends, a way I could spend time with my 2 sons. Once I started to meet other local golfers, I started playing in local leagues and tournaments throughout northeast Ohio. After playing events, I wanted to give back to the community and help grow the sport I had grown to love.

I got involved with the Parma Disc Golf Club in 2015 and by the end of 2016 ran my 1st tournament, The Lakeview Open. I helped develop the Parma Disc Golf Club through dedication, hard work, and help from the community. Running tournaments and leagues became my passion and I have had the pleasure of serving on the NEODGA board to further growth in northeast Ohio.

I have met some of the best people I have ever known as well as some friends I will have for the rest of my life. I truly appreciate everything the game has given me, and I will continue to give back to the best of my ability.

I came into the disc golf scene about 4 years ago and I was 100% convinced disc golf was the worst sport to be invented. How could it be so hard to throw a silly little disc straight 200 feet? Now somehow, the sport is all I think about and I might have a severe addiction to it. Please send help.

My latest passion has been to grow the women’s side of disc golf in our area. I started a women’s only league in Parma in the spring of 2024 and I ran my first women’s only tournament at the end of 2024. I believe these both ended up being a success and I can’t wait to continue with the league and to run more tournaments in the future.

As for work, I have been in banking for 12 years. I am using a lot of my knowledge and experience from my job to assist with handling the finances for the NEODGA. This is definitely a new experience for me, but I am super excited that I can be a part of the growth of this club and that I can use my knowledge and expertise to assist along the way!
